With $5 billion in annual sales of fashion and home products, LTK has become a go-to destination for beauty enthusiasts to stay on top of the latest must-haves.
Glowy Makeup Takes Center Stage
One of the most noticeable trends to emerge on LTK this March is the resurgence of “glowy makeup.” With searches for this term skyrocketing by over 1,400% in the month, it’s clear that this trend is here to stay. The culprit behind this trend is none other than Milk Makeup’s Hydro Grip Hydrating Gel Skin Tint, which launched in February as a counterpart to the brand’s bestselling primer of the same franchise.
“We’re seeing a lot of interest in products that give a healthy, radiant glow,” said Ally Anderson, senior director of insights and strategy at LTK. “Glowy makeup is all about enhancing your natural features and giving you a fresh, lit-from-within look.”
Another product that’s benefited from this trend is Makeup by Mario’s Hydrating SuperShine Lip Gloss, which launched last December and was the single most-shopped beauty product on LTK in March.
Clean Beauty and Spring Beauty On The Rise
“The three key trends we’re seeing across the top-performing products are glowy, clean beauty and spring beauty,” continued Anderson. “Clean beauty is all about using natural ingredients and avoiding harsh chemicals, while spring beauty is all about embracing the fresh, vibrant colors of the season.”
Patrick Ta’s flush-boosting Major Headlines blush duo is a prime example of a spring beauty product that’s taking the world by storm.
Fragrances and Lip Stains Lead The Pack
The fragrance category saw a 300% month-over-month increase in searches in March, with Ouai’s Melrose Place Eau de Parfum leading the pack.
Lip stains, meanwhile, saw a 90% search spike, with TikTok-viral Wonderskin’s Wonder Blading Lip Stain Masque taking the top spot among them.
Other notable mentions include D’Alba’s white truffle-infused serum-spray, which sells more than 10,000 units a month on Amazon, and face mists, which saw a staggering 1,900% growth in searches in March.
