Review of the Products

The L'OCCITANE Shower Oil is a best-selling formula that I have tried before and loved. It smells glorious with a sweet almond scent and transforms in the shower from a silky golden oil to a milk-like lather that leaves my skin velvety soft and smelling lush for some time post-shower. The product is worth £10, which is a great value considering its size.

The L'OCCITANE Shea Butter Hand Cream is another product that I have stocked up on since trying it before. It transforms dry hands and has a lush smell of jasmine and ylang ylang to accompany it. It is fast absorbing and doesn’t leave your mitts feeling too greasy after application. The price is £10, which is also a great value.

The Spectrum Blusher Brush is a full-size product that I have been wanting to try for ages but hadn’t gotten round to treating myself. I was not surprised that the quality of the brush on my relatively sensitive skin was amazing. The bristles were not harsh and didn’t feel too stiff when applying blusher. In fact, they felt super soft and really flexible – something my cheaper brushes definitely don’t have.

The ISOCLEAN Makeup Brush Cleaner with a Spray Top is another brilliant product inside the Lookfantastic April box. This make-up brush cleaner does all the hard work for you and is simple to use. Just spray onto some tissue – or the brush itself – and rub the brush on a surface you’re happy to get dirty in circular motions and watch the make-up melt off your brush. The only downside is that it does not smell that nice, but it is a small price to pay for the convenience it provides.

The Mugler Alien Extraintense Fragrance is a great size to pop in your handbag on a night out and is divine with sweet vanilla and floral jasmine scents.

Conclusion

Overall, I was very impressed with the Lookfantastic April beauty box and the products it contained. Three of the products stood out to me personally and were potentially the simplest ones. I was happy to spend a little more to try out these products and I think they are well worth the £15 price tag.

“I love this month’s beauty edit especially for Spectrum brush and L’Occitane. I will use all products.”

One of the things I like about Lookfantastic is that it includes a full-size product in each box, which is a great value considering the price. The box is also recyclable and comes in a lovely cardboard box with tissue paper to protect the products.

Overall, I would highly recommend Lookfantastic to anyone who loves trying out new beauty products or just wants to switch up their beauty routine.
